Finally some noise erupted out of Valley Ranch today. Adam Schefter reported (via Twitter) that the Cowboys have agreed to a tentative deal with free agent outside linebacker Justin Durant. The news out of Valley Ranch today is that the Dallas Cowboys re-signed veteran linebacker Ernie Sims to a one-year $715,000 salary. Sims was an asset to the team last year after injuries sidelined Sean Lee and Bruce Carter. Sims was then credited with 42 tackles and one sack. That stat line doesn’t tell the whole story though.
